Mark is a dedicated and compassionate acupuncturist with a diverse background in the healing arts. He began as a yoga and qigong instructor, studied Polarity and CranioSacral therapies along the way, and eventually landed at acupuncture school, the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, from which he graduated in 2022.
With a deep appreciation for the various styles and techniques of acupuncture, Mark works closely with his patients to determine which treatment style works best for their unique needs. In addition to acupuncture, his comprehensive toolkit includes tui na (Chinese medical massage), gua sha, cupping, and the subtle yet powerful palpation techniques of CranioSacral therapy, myofascial release, and qigong tui na. For patients who are anxious about needles, he even offers teishin treatment—a traditional, non-insertive needle therapy that, like acupuncture, harnesses the body’s intrinsic healing potential.
Mark also holds a Bachelor of Music degree (Theory/Composition) from the University of Tennessee. In his free time he enjoys singing, composing, and learning to play new musical instruments, even if horribly so. He is also a dedicated practitioner of qigong, neigong, and taijiquan. He resides in Knoxville with his wife, Elizabeth, a veterinary dermatologist, and their seriously curious tabby cat, Byrdie.

Loretta’s journey into massage therapy began with a deep interest in how the body responds to touch and relaxation. She was pregnant with her son and seeking relief for her physical body, as well as her mental health. Loretta was a teacher for 15 years before deciding to enter the massage therapy field. She was inspired by how her own body, mind, and spirit responded to the massage she received and felt called to provide that for others.
Loretta received her massage therapy education at Roane State where she was taught and nurtured by an amazing teacher and mentor. She continually updates her skills with the latest techniques. Loretta has big plans for her future continuing education endeavors and cannot wait to try as many modalities as she can. After acquiring a B.S. in Health Education, Becky has worked as a dental hygienist for many years. She finds it fascinating that each tooth is also related to a reflex in the body.
In 2013, she completed a 200 hour lyengar yoga training and finished her 500 hour yoga training in Subtle (trauma informed) yoga in 2015. She teaches a gentle flow yoga as well as yin, restorative and lyengar styles of yoga. She is also a Reiki Master and Arch Angelic Light Master/Teacher.
It is her belief that individuals must become an advocate for their own health and treat the whole body as a temple–a housing for the soul. “The body is divinely created and should be treated with respect by the individuals and practitioners.” Reflexology and energy work will develop more awareness of oneself and aid in bringing balance into a healthy lifestyle.

Whitney has been a dedicated and trusted massage therapist in Knoxville since 2017 and a certified restorative yoga instructor since 2023. She was initially drawn to massage therapy as a natural way to support her own nervous system and quickly experienced the deep benefits of compassionate, intentional touch—not only for relaxation, but for reconnecting with the body and fostering a more balanced state of being.
Over the years, Whitney has developed a deeply therapeutic style of massage that blends Swedish-inspired techniques with slower, intuitive pacing, barefoot massage for deeper, broader pressure, and cupping to support circulation and release muscular tension. Overhead bars in her treatment space allow her to safely and skillfully offer barefoot massage, creating a grounded experience that meets tension without force.
Earlier in her career, Whitney specialized in Grief Massage. For eight years, she supported clients navigating loss and created a continuing education course to teach other massage therapists how to approach grief with gentleness and skill. While she no longer offers grief-specific sessions, her years of grief tending continue to inform her presence and the care she provides to each client.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Whitney remains committed to providing thoughtful, client-centered care. She is honored to continue serving the Knoxville community with skill, intention, and warmth.
